Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not take insurance

Do you offer Telehealth?

Yes, I can see patients in-person or via Telehealth, as along as they are in the state of Colorado at the time of the Telehealth visit.

Can you be my primary care doctor?

No, I can not be your PCP through my private practice. I am a specialist, doing Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine consults. I am happy to work with your PCP.

How do I schedule an appointment?

I am not currently seeing patients at my private practice. If you would like to be notified when I do start taking new patients, please complete the form at the top of this page.

What happens in a typical first visit?

Your first visit is a comprehensive history to share your story of how you got to where you are today. Expect to spend time telling your story while I ask questions to get a full picture of your health. Together, we’ll identify 1-3 key action items to begin with.

Your first visit is typically 1-2 hours long, depending on your personal needs. Those with more complex histories who will take more time to unravel, I recommend scheduling a 2 hour intake.

What conditions do you treat?

I work with patients dealing with issues such as chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances, gastrointestinal concerns, hormone imbalances, women’s health issues, anxiety/depression, and other chronic or functional health conditions.

What is your cancellation policy

My cancellation policy has multiple tiers, starting at 48 hours:

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment start time, you will not be charged at all.

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment start time, you will be charged ½ the price of the scheduled service.

  • If you reschedule within 24 hours you will not be charged, but if you then cancel your rescheduled visit, you will be charged the full amount.

  • If you cancel the day of your visit or do not show-up for your visit, you will be charged full cost of your entire visit.

  • If you arrive late for your appointment, you will be seen for the originally scheduled time slot (i.e. you arrive 30 min late for your 60 min appointment - I will see you for 30 minutes but you will be charged for the full 60 min appointment).

  • I am always happy to change an in-person appointment to virtual if that is needed to allow you to attend your scheduled appointment.
